Job Description: Alpha Technologies, provider of world-class powering systems and alternative energy solutions, seeks an Electrical Engineer for our team in Germany. He/she will set up, develop and maintain the renewable energy product portfolio focusing on Photovoltaic.
Summary: This position will analyse the renewable energy market needs and offerings, develop the product portfolio, be responsible for the corresponding marketing materials and support the sales channels in Europe.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyze, structure, develop and maintain the existing product portfolio for photovoltaic and renewable energy solutions
- Discuss and negotiate prices and contracts with third party suppliers on a regular basis
- Cooperation with Alpha Energy in the US
- Follow market trends and developments in Europe
- Set up marketing material to support the sales team and partner network
- Provide technical trainings for internal sales and application engineers and external partners and customers
- Participate in and prepare product features and advantages for customer presentations
- Participate in designated trade shows
- Handle and resolve technical problems and complaints
- The responsibilities might be expanded to the traditional power products in the Alpha portfolio
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent knowledge, training and experience
- Minimum three to five years experience in sales and marketing oriented product management
- Good knowledge of German and English language
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in technical and sales related environments.
- Creative problem solving/trouble shooting skills in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
PC Application Skills:
- Comfortable with most applications of the following: InDesign, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
