CUSTOMERS BENEFIT FROM NEW DC XPRESS DELIVERY SERVICE

Burnaby, B.C., May 25, 2000 - Guaranteed seven-day delivery is now available on custom configured Argus telecom power products.

Instead of waiting the normal four to six weeks for delivery of a telecom power system, customers are now guaranteed to have their system shipped within seven days of receiving the order. The DC Xpress program was introduced in response to the needs of customers facing continually tightening installation deadlines.

In addition to dramatically reducing the waiting time for a custom configured DC power system, a DC Xpress Configurator has been developed, allowing customers to self-configure their power systems from a defined set of options. This gives unprecedented control and increases the efficiency of system engineering and ordering. Systems included in the DC Xpress program and the custom configurator range from 10 amps to 600 amps. The custom configurator is available in a MS Excel spreadsheet format and obtained by e-mail.

"We're in constant dialog with our customers about what they need from us," said Mark Snider, Argus' Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Quick delivery is the main issue. The four to six week standard just doesn't work for everyone."

A DC Xpress power system can be configured with a low voltage load disconnect, digital supervisory controller, battery breakers, A/B feed load breakers, 90aH-300aH battery systems and front or rear access breaker panels. Custom systems are configured using standard components and are out the door in seven days.
