Alpha Expands AlphaCell Battery Family
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Bellingham, Wash., May 25, 2005 - Power system provider Alpha Technologies has expanded its AlphaCell battery family to include the new 210 GXL-HP Silver Alloy and 210 GXL-Gel batteries. These new batteries are designed specifically to increase runtimes for broadband communication applications, such as VoIP.
"Alpha has developed the 210 GXL Series in response to customer demand for longer runtime batteries in the same footprint," commented Jim Heidenreich, Alpha Technologies, Director of Business Development, Energy Storage Systems, adding, "Alpha continually strives to provide customers with quality product solutions that fit their unique powering needs."
The new AlphaCell 210 GXL-HP utilizes a silver alloy battery gel for superior float service life. The 210 GXL-HP provides 210 minutes of runtime in a typical cable configuration without increasing the case size.
Long-life positive grid design and exclusive alloy provide for superior performance and make the new AlphaCell 210 GXL an efficient, cost effective solution. Alpha’s 210GXL-HP battery includes an exclusive “Premium Gel”, which combines the proven benefits of gelled electrolyte technology with a unique positive grid alloy that increases battery float life and reduces the adverse impact of grid oxidation.
