ALPHA ANNOUNCES NEW EUROPEAN SALES MANAGER

Bellingham, Wash., March 30, 2001 - Alpha Technologies has announced the appointment of a new European Regional Sales Manager for DC and Telecom Products and Services.

Brian Frost is joining the Alpha team based out of the UK office. He will be responsible for DC Telecom sales to both the UK and Ireland. Brian will provide primary support to customers and representatives for business terms and conditions, technical support, customer training and strategy. He will have direct interaction with the customers to provide the best service possible.

Brian is a seasoned player in DC Telecom powering, with involvement in sales, product management and installation. Brian has several years of experience in the Telecom industry and the knowledge he has acquired will be a great asset to Alpha. This new position will help Alpha strengthen its’ presence in Europe and provide necessary visibility to help promote positive customer relations for future business transactions.
