ALPHA EXPANDS TELECOM PRESENCE IN EUROPE

Bellingham, Wash., October 22, 2001 - Power system manufacturer Alpha Technologies has recently hired two new telecom team members to strengthen its overall support of the European region.

In response to the growing number of support request from customers concerning installation of all types of power equipment in telco exchanges, POP sites, headends and other communication facilities, Alpha has hired two additional telecom support personnel.

Alpha has expanded its European team to include Steve Crocker, Field Applications Engineer and David Martin, Senior Telecom Engineer. There has been an increase in demand for Engineering, Furnish and Installation (EF&I) of DC products that will make these gentlemen's long history in the telecom field prove beneficial to both operators and Alpha.
