ALPHA EXHIBITS AT INTELEC SHOW IN EDINBURGH

Bellingham, Wash., October 30, 2001 - Power system manufacturer Alpha Technologies recently participated in the 27th annual INTELEC conference in Edinburgh, Scotland. The INTELEC show covers the latest developments in telecommunications energy systems and related power processing equipment.

This year's event was held October 14-18, and Alpha was pleased to display a wide variety of power products. Products displayed at the stand included a good sampling of Argus DC product, including a complete Argus DC power plant, RSM and Pathfinder rectifiers and other DC power related products. The Company also displayed Alpha Inverter and Pinnacle AC/UPS power products.

Technical papers presented at the show included research and new development in power electronics and telecommunications power systems, DC power plants, powering architectures, AC systems, DC-DC converters, batteries, prime power systems, grounding, physical and thermal design, alternative power (engines, fuel cells, etc) and building and equipment cooling systems.
