ALPHA NAMES COMSONICS AS NEW SERVICE CENTER

Bellingham, Wash., January 16, 2001 - Power system manufacturer Alpha Technologies has named ComSonics, Inc. to its authorized list of service centers. ComSonics, based in Harrisonburg, VA, will provide product repair service to Alpha customers through a nation-wide network of sales representatives.

ComSonics provides the benefit of both nationwide sales contacts as well as strategically located regional repair facilities. ComSonics will arrange the pick up of product from customer locations, routing them to the closest repair facility for servicing.



ComSonics is a well-respected service center and has a long-standing relationship with Alpha and their technicians have completed extensive training on Alpha products. These products include among others XM and XM Series 2 power supplies, Genasys, and generator control systems.
