Companies in the Top 100 were selected based on their history of advancing the cause of fiber to the premises and the potential to make a difference in the fiber optic broadband industry in the coming year. Alpha was selected due to its innovative battery backup systems, which the industry deems as increasingly crucial to residential fiber deployments.

Working closely with its contract manufacturer, G.B. Enterprises, Alpha has built a business partnership able to react quickly in the development and manufacture of products to serve the rapidly growing fiber-to-the-home market.
