Bellingham, Wash., January 21, 2004 - Power system provider Alpha Technologies, introduces a new non-standby power supply. The Alpha APX2-G unit offers conditioned power to signal amplifiers in Cable Television and Broadband distribution systems.

The design of this cost-effective and reliable non-standby power supply features a universal bracket and can be pole (wood, steel or concrete) or wall-mounted. The ferroresonant transformer provides fully regulated output voltage, surge and short-circuit protection. The Alpha APX2-G unit is available in 8A or 15A versions, includes an external power inserter and comes with a 1-year full warranty.
