ALPHA TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES ADDITIONS TO XM SERIES 2 POWER SUPPLY FAMILY

Bellingham, Wash., April 18, 2001 - Power supply manufacturer Alpha has expanded its line of XM Series 2 power supplies. New models, enhanced product design and operating improvements have made the XM Series 2 the industry’s power supply of choice.

The XM Series 2 vertical-mount has been developed specifically for the European market, providing a power supply for street-side cabinets with a minimum depth constraints. Models are available in 60-volt configurations with up to 22.5A power ratings. This power supply comes with a standard two-year warranty.

The XM Series 2 design incorporates complete generator compatibility, flexible system control and advanced status monitoring options. These features support easy migration to centralized node powering, while reducing the overall enclosure size to power ratio. The XM Series 2 will also display suggested troubleshooting hints under alarm conditions in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
