Alpha Earns A plus at HMS Field Trial
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bellingham, Wash., January 28, 2002 - Power supply manufacturer Alpha Technologies recently participated in an industry-first Hybrid Management Sub-Layer Subcommittee (HMS) field trial, performing flawlessly throughout the duration of the program. The intent of the field trial was to test product and prove interoperability between power supplies and status monitoring equipment in a real-world cable network. "Alpha was honored to participate in this event and excited to be part of this important emerging technology," commented officials at Alpha. Alpha supplied participating transponder vendors with HMS interfaces for the trial which were installed on-site for accurate, practical testing. During the course of the week, Alpha's HMS interface performed without incident and was deemed a complete success.
