Bellingham, Wash., September 1, 2003 - Power system provider Alpha Technologies, has announced the appointment of Paul Muir to Senior Vice President of Sales. Muir will assume Alpha Technologies, Inc. executive responsibility for North American Cable Sales and Services, AC and DC product sales, alternative energy and battery distribution.

Muir has a long and successful history of high-tech sales, general management and team building. Muir joined Alpha in 2000 as VP of North American Cable Sales and performed an outstanding job building and strengthening Alpha’s sales team. The establishment of this position reflects the addition of new companies to the Alpha Group, and the benefits of centralizing the management of their respective growth and business activity.

In addition to Muir’s familiarity and experience with the Cable TV industry, and previous positions in the Telecommunications market, he holds an MBA from Penn State.
