Alpha Expands Battery Offering to Address Growing Distributed Generation Market

Bellingham, Wash., August 28, 2002 - Power solutions provider Alpha Technologies has announced the expansion of its popular AlphaCell battery offering to include “PV Series” batteries for both grid-tied and off-grid solar photovoltaic applications and distributed generation power systems.

The expanded AlphaCell PV offering includes both float-service batteries for grid-connected power systems that include battery backup, as well as a deep-cycle battery offering for grid-independent systems.
