Bellingham, Wash., June 17, 2002 - Power system manufacturer Alpha Technologies, announces a new version of its popular ALI Plus Series uninterruptible power supplies. The ALI Plus Multi-Mount UPS is designed to provide backup power for sensitive electronic equipment.

The ALI Plus Multi-Mount UPS is a microprocessor-controlled, pure sine-wave, line interactive UPS using advanced Auto Voltage Regulation (AVR) with double boost and buck. The AVR allows for wider input voltage operating range, which results in fewer transfers and extended battery life. More compact in size - utilizing only two rack units, the ALI Plus Multi-Mount UPS provides installation flexibility for tower, rack or wall-mounted configurations, reducing costs by easily adapting to challenging location constraints in a single unit.

Additional features for the new ALI Plus Multi-Mount UPS include: smart battery management, automatic frequency selection, hot-swappable batteries, smart communication, optional internal SNMP, TCP/IP base power management software and dry contact relay alarms. Power ratings of 600VA to 3000VA available.
