ALPHA TECHNOLOGIES AWARDED POWER TECHNOLOGY PATENT

Bellingham, Wash., September 21, 2001 - Power system manufacturer Alpha Technologies announces the newest addition to its power technology patent portfolio. This latest patent encompasses multiple output uninterruptible alternating current power supplies for communication systems.
