The XM2-HP power supply features a high efficiency transformer with lower power consumption and lower life cycle costs. This new “green” power supply can greatly reduce the carbon footprint of the entire cable plant by running more efficiently 24/7. Additional features include an enhanced Smart Display with improved menus and dedicated Communications menu with DOCSIS® parameters. The XM2-HP is available in three convenient power ratings for load matching to operate at optimal efficiency.

Launched at the International CTIA Wireless show in Las Vegas (April 2009), the Cordex™ High Performance 1.2kW is the first "High Performance" rectifier built on Argus Technologies' established Cordex™ platform. Since 2003, the Cordex rectifier has established itself as a robust and ever-reliable industry mainstay, featured in thousands of DC Power installations all over the world. For its compact 1RU x 2RU footprint, the Cordex HP is not just a one-trick pony. Compared to competing rectifiers, it excels with outstanding performance on multiple fronts: Efficiency (>93%), Power Density (21.8W/in^3), and High Temperature Operation (100% full output up to 65°C/140°F). Ultimately, improvements in performance and reduction in footprint provide greater system flexibility and CAPEX/OPEX savings over the life of the product compared to competing platforms.
