For nearly twenty years, The Alpha Group has sold communications power equipment into China, primarily on an import basis from North America.

But 2006 saw the expansion of The Alpha Group's Chinese in-country sales team with the addition of a new sales office in the Luo Hu District of Shenzen.

The goal for the first year is to realize a significant sales increase by offering cost-effective communication power products to the Chinese market. If accomplished, this will lay a solid foundation for substantial future growth.

Specific geographical areas will be allocated between the Cable and DC sales teams so as to cover more ground, targeting the Chinese market with specialized product offerings while identifing other potential solutions.

Already, there has been consolidation within the previously separate Cable and DC sales teams, allowing them to cover more markets, more efficiently. Several sales promotions have been initiated, including road shows, customer visits and new product introductions. These efforts have already been rewarded with the identification of some significant cable and telecom powering opportunities.

The diversity of The Alpha Group’s product offerings gives us a significant advantage over local competitors as we have the benefit of exploring opportunities in every energy sector including solar energy, generators, WiFi, FTTH and security.
