In response to customer requests for a rapidly deployable hybrid power system, Alpha Energy’s new Hybrid Power System (HPS) platform makes it easier than ever to extend power to communications networks, security and lighting systems, while saving the expense and ecological damage of extending conventional grid power to remote or other hard-to-reach locations.

The HPS is a very flexible stand-alone electrical system designed to meet highly durable quality standards. The updated Alpha Energy system combines photovoltaic technology, an efficient propane-powered engine generator and a deep-cycle battery bank to provide continuous and trouble-free electrical power in virtually any remote environment.

Systems are pre-engineered with the optimal combination of power components to ensure highly reliable operation in any geographic location. From large scale applications like remote cellular repeater sites in Texas and Arizona to smaller lighting systems and security cameras in Colorado and British Columbia, the HPS’s combination of solar and gas-generator power is a reliable long-term powering solution.

Each system is infinitely customizable, which ultimately brings peace of mind to network and system operators. Options include maximum power point technology (MPPT) charge control, load control, remote communications, DC to AC inverter and an AC Generator, and systems can be configured to provide a range of AC or DC output voltages.

In addition to the standard line of systems, Alpha’s staff of engineers are available to design custom configurations for a full range of telecommunications, telemetry, cellular, wireless data, flow monitoring, cathodic protection, security lighting, traffic applications and complete village power systems on a worldwide basis.
