SCTE
This year marked the largest exhibitor space for Alpha at the 2006 Cable-Tec Expo in Denver, CO. New products being debuted at this year's show included the XM2-906, UBE-PWE enclosure and AlphaCell 290. An expanded range of digital and analogue Status monitoring solutions were prominently displayed, along with complete simulated Cable Headend featuring AC and DC powering options.

For the first time Alpha also took a second booth dedicated to displaying an AlphaGen Portable Generator Trailer, which contained 28 DC portable generators. This year's Cable-Tec Expo had 400 plus exhibitors and over ten thousand attendees.

SOLAR 2006
The Solar 2006 show, hosted by American Solar Energy Society (ASES), was a successful show for Alpha Energy. The show boasted a 20% increase in show attendees from the year before and brought together many home developers and homeowners that have high interests in integrating solar into their projects. The most popular product in the booth was the Solaris XP solar inverter, as many people were looking for backup power protection from hurricanes and other severe weather storms.

CSTB
The annual International Exhibition and Conference of Cable and Satellite, TV, radio broadcasting and Broadband (CSTB) took place in Moscow's exhibition center February 6-9, 2006.

CSTB presented the original annual report on the most topical issues in broadcast and broadband industries. Research indicates that both visitors and exhibitors recognize the CSTB exhibition and conference as a very crucial high quality event. Being one of the numerous exhibitors, AlphaTEK was presented with a globe award for "The best contribution to the Cable TV industry of Russia." This award goes to show the high recognition and customer awareness of the Alpha brand. Alpha's high quality and reasonable prices constitute a very competitive product. As a result, AlphaTEK took its place in the niche of the segment of reliable powering solutions in Russia.

GLOBALCOMM
GlobalComm 2006, produced by the Telecommunication Industry Association (TIA), was held 5-7 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. The inaugural conference and exhibition had over 17,000 attendees and 500 exhibitors occupying 800,000 square feet of space. This successful communications event was co-exhibited with Outside Plant (OSP).
