Alpha Technologies is pleased to announce the new Flextra family of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, in addition to an updated Novus product line-up to meet today's diverse power requirements. There are several different product sections included within these families; the Novus Flextra Module (or FXM UPS), the Flextra line of enclosures, and the updated Novus line of single-box solutions.
The FXM UPS series is a new generation of value-added uninterruptible power supply modules with feature-rich capabilities, such as historical event logging, remote communications, Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) and power conditioning. The design, functionalities, and capabilities of the UPS are carried throughout the entire Novus line of single-box solutions. In 2006, the Novus line will encompass all of the following products bearing the Novus name: FXM UPS Series, Micro Secure, Micro, Micro XL and Micro XL3.
In addition, Alpha is offering a compatible Flextra line of enclosures. The name Flextra is derived from the flexibility and configurability the systems provide in a variety of outdoor settings. The FXM UPS, are specifically designed for the Flextra enclosures to ensure dynamic and responsive backup power solutions.
Five categories will be released:
- Flextra Universal Mount
- Flextra Ground and Pad Mount
- Flextra Special Purpose
- Flextra Extreme
- Flextra Nodes
The launch of these two innovative product lines is scheduled to be complete by the third quarter of 2006. With clean, reliable backup power protection, Alpha's Flextra outdoor power systems are viable solutions for virtually every powering application.
