Another Uneventful Day Off the Grid

Hybrid Power Systems (HPS) incorporate multiple power generation sources to provide redundancy and ensure power in critical situations off the grid.

Alpha’s HPS combines a solar power system, a wind turbine and battery storage bank with an AlphaGen natural gas generator to compensate for larger power load requirements or obstructed weather conditions, like cloud coverage or low sun exposure.

Designed for applications with larger electric loads or requiring greater reliability in areas with highly variable solar resources
The solar array and optional wind turbine provide the primary charging of the batteries, and the incorporated engine generator provides the balance of the load on an as needed basis
