This 69.3kW Elevated Solar Racking Structure was installed as a continuation of the partnership between Alpha and Cox to support Cox leadership in solar energy deployments in Arizona. The system will provide clean and low-cost power for onsite business operations for the next 20 to 25 years.

Located right off the Black Canyon Freeway, a major freeway artery, the 69.3kW Union Hills system consists of 396 photovoltaic panels supported by an Elevated Solar Racking structure that was designed and installed by Alpha, covering 60 parking spots. The system will generate more than 108,000 kilowatt hours per year, enough to power about 11 homes and prevent the emissions of more than 130,000lbs of CO₂ per year. All PV systems deployed by Cox AZ include real-time performance monitoring systems that track and record performance data including power produced and metrics to energy offsets.
