Photovoltaic Modules
The most important and visible elements of any solar power system are the solar panels. This is where the initial process of converting the sun’s heat to usable energy begins.

The two main types of solar photovoltaic cells are Monocrystalline and Polycrystalline, that can be distinguished by their color. The production of monocrystalline cells involves extracting monocrystalline rods from melted silicon and then sawing them into thin plates, the resulting color being close to black. For the production of polycrystalline cells, liquid silicon is poured into blocks that are subsequently sawed into plates, turning the color light blue. The differing production processes lead to different results: While monocrystalline cells have the highest efficiency, polycrystalline cells are relatively more cost-efficient.

In order to provide more or less power for different applications, PV cells can be connected together to form larger units. In general, cells connected in series have a higher voltage and those connected in parallel produce more current.

Silicon solar modules use breakthrough technology perfected by nearly 40 years of manufacturing technology. These modules use a textured cell surface and tempered glass to reduce reflection of sunlight. The anti-reflective coating provides a uniform color and increases the absorption of light in all weather conditions. These solar modules can be applied in many areas including building roofs, photovoltaic power plants, telecommunication hubs, weather stations, broadcast towers, navigation marks, railways and road intersections.
