Alpha Energy Appoints New Leadership

Bellingham, Wash. -- October 8, 2007 -- Alpha Energy, a member of The Alpha Group™, is proud to announce new leadership to continue its growth into the global renewable energy market. A recognized leader in renewable energy system integration and development, Alpha Energy has appointed Dr. Johan Enslin to the position of Vice President and General Manager and Dave Frankenfield to the position of Vice President of National Sales.

Enslin comes to Alpha from KEMA Consulting as Vice President of Power Systems Planning, where he managed the System Planning and Analysis Group since 2000. Throughout his career he has performed work for more than 80 US, European, Asian and African utilities, governments and industries. Enslin previously worked for the University of Pretoria, the University of Stellenbosch and ESKOM. Enslin is active in the IEEE as an Associate Editor for the Power Electronics Transactions. He has authored and co-authored more than 250 technical journal and conference papers, holds 13 patents and is a Registered Professional Engineer.

Taking over leadership of the Alpha Energy sales force, Frankenfield brings more than 30 years of sales experience in the high technology industry. Most recently as Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Executive Relations for ReacTV and erinMedia, he worked previously with Acterna and Cheetah Technologies, a world leader in Network Management and status monitoring systems deployed into Cable TV OSP and NOC facilities.

“Dave’s sales experience in several of Alpha’s strongest markets will give us the opportunity to leverage our strengths and abilities in the developing renewable energy market,” said Spée. “This new leadership, from an operations and sales perspective, is integral to our organization’s mission as a Total Power Solutions provider.”
