Bellingham, Wash. August 30, 2007 - Alpha Energy, leader in turnkey photovoltaic systems and a member of The Alpha Group, recently introduced its enhanced integrated solar power uninterruptible power supply (UPS): the Solaris 3500XP.
“As a UPS, the Solaris is the ideal solution for people or organizations wanting to minimize their carbon footprint, but have a critical power need,” said Ray Kosanke, National Sales Manager for Alpha Energy. “The Solaris lets you take advantage of free and clean solar power, and at the same time you can rest assured that in the event of a power outage, a supply of that solar energy is available for future use.”

The Solaris is a single-box solution providing up to 3.5kW of continuous power over a temperature range of –40 to +50°C. The pre-integrated, tested and calibrated package makes it easy to install. With UL 1778 certification and NEMA 3R rating, the XP UPS grade inverter system is ideal for residential and light commercial indoor and outdoor applications.

The Solaris features a single point of warranty for all components including batteries, optional string balancing technology and an optional 3kW AlphaGen for extended outage situations.
